Ceramist is an iPhone and iPad app for potters and ceramics lovers. Draw the profile of a piece with your finger, see it in 3D, then learn to throw it step by step. With the Ceramist + subscription, place it at real size on your own table in augmented reality.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• Draw. Sketch the silhouette of a bowl, a vase or a mug with a fingertip and adjust its dimensions, handles, lid and spout.

• 3D, then augmented reality. Turn your drawing around in 3D and pick a glaze for free; with Ceramist +, place the piece at real scale in your workshop with AR, measure it in 2D and watch the animated throwing.

• Step-by-step throwing program. A guided course that takes you from centering the clay to trimming the foot, one exercise at a time.

• Le Fil. A community feed where you share your pieces, comment on other people's work and get inspired.

The app is free to use. The optional Ceramist + subscription (monthly or yearly, with a free trial) unlocks unlimited saved creations and the full program. Subscriptions are managed by Apple and can be cancelled at any time from your Apple account settings.
